Prediction of prognosis in facial nerve palsy using constellation diagram.

Prediction of the prognosis of facial nerve palsy has been attempted using values obtained by neurophysiological examinations. However, the values obtained by these methods are only a cross-section of the entire course of the palsy. In order to assess more simply and concisely the prognosis of the disease during the early stage, we applied the constellation diagram method to depict the course of mimetic movement diagrammatically.
