Korrektur der dynamischen Gesichtsfalten mit Botulinumtoxin A (Dysport®): Eine Pilotstudie

2000
The aim of this open monocentric pilot study was to evaluate the efficacy and safety of botulinum toxin A (Dysport®) in the treatment of facial wrinkles using subjective criteria. A total of 13 female patients with a median (25th, 75th quartile) age of 47 (45, 53) years were treated with 10U/0,1 ml of Dysport® per injection point (IP). In 11 patients the glabella region (7 IPs), in 6 patients the crow feet (4-6 IPs) and in two additional patients the platysma (8 IPs) was treated. The efficacy of the treatment was measured by a five point subjective score ranging from 1- 5(1 = totally satisfied, 5 = not at all satisfied). Most patients were satisfied with the treatment. The median of the subjective score for treatment efficacy was 2 (1, 3). The median of the treatment tolerability was also 2 (1, 2). No severe side effects were noticed. 4 of 11 patients who were treated at the glabella reported temporary headache. Further studies are necessary to evaluate the optimal dosage for the treatment of facial wrinkles.
