Impact prediction of land-forming on marine environment in Jiaozhou Bay and Qianwan Bay I. Impact on hydrodynamic environment

The tidal current numerical models of Jiaozhou Bay and Qianwan Bay are established using the split steps finite method with triangle grids.The tidal current fields are simulated.The predictions are made according to the land-forming projects promoted in the General Plan of Qianwan Port (2004).The variation of the marine hydrodynamic factors such as current velocity,direction and influx are obtained.Based on the progress of development scheme,the synergistic effect of projects on marine environment is discussed.The results can provide theoretical and scientific basis for the environmental planning and management,marine environmental protection and the adjustment of economic development strategy of Qingdao.
