The Meyer–Hubatka Incisions: Nine Years of Experience

2001
THE AUTHORS have been using the Meyer– Hubatka(1) relaxing incisions for deep circumferential burns, necrotic fasciitis, hematomas, and for flaps developing blood flow deficiency. The procedure is simple and the wounds heal more quickly compared with traditional incisions that are long and wide (Fig. 1). The authors, utilizing the incisions since 1990, discuss their experience with this method.
