Fibromatosis Colli Presenting as an Infantile Neck Mass: Sonographic Appearances in Two Patients

2006
Abstract Fibromatosis colli is rare, but is the most common cause of congenital torticollis. We describe, using two case reports as an example, how this condition can be diagnosed, by careful clinical history taking and using ultrasound as the imaging tool. Prompt detection with ultrasound can avoid more invasive methods of evaluation and treatment, and the variations of sonographic appearances of fibromatosis colli are highlighted.
