The novel compounds of 2,4-oxazolidinediones of formula (I): wherein R is a residue hydrocarbon or heterocyclic group, EACH OF WHICH CAN BE REPLACED REGARDLESS; Y is -CO-, CH (OH) or -NR 3 alkyl, WHICH CAN BE REPLACED THE SAME); M is 0 or 1; N is 0, 1 or 2; X is CH ON; A is a residue chain hydrocarbon bivalent straight or branched having 1 to 7 carbon atoms; R1 and R2 are each, independently, hydrogen or an alkyl or R1 and R2 combine with each other to form a heterocyclic group of 5 to 6 members, optionally containing nitrogen; LYM are each hydrogen OLYM combine together to form a bond; And pharmaceutically acceptable salts THEREOF, AND you HAVE SOME ACTIVITIES hypoglycemic HIPOLIDEMICAS excellent and are useful as antidiabetics or hypolipidemic.
