Eukaryotic expression in plant plastids peptides.

A construct comprising the following components in the 5 'to 3' 'of the transcipcion: a) a promoter sequence operon 16S ribosomal RNA (Prrn); b) a ribosome binding site joined to said promoter component (a), wherein said ribosome binding site derived from the gene 10 leader sequence of bacteriophage T7; c) a DNA sequence encoding a peptide derived from an eukaryotic organism; and d) a transcription termination region, wherein said eukaryotic peptide is other than a peptide of a plant.
