Evaluation of Low-Contrast Detectability of Iterative Reconstruction across Multiple Institutions, CT Scanner Manufacturers, and Radiation Exposure Levels.

On the basis of our phantom measurements of low-contrast images, the mean correct classification rate for an iterative reconstruction image was higher and better than that for a filtered back projection image for all three vendors, for all three doses, and for all nine vendor and dose combinations.
