Využití kvantitativní MR venografie v indikaci stentingu stenózy žilního splavu

2020
In a patient with idiopathic intracranial hypertension (IIH) with evidence of hemodynamically significant venous canal stenosis, stent placement is an effective treatment option. In the indication of endovascular performance, the key is the demonstration of the pressure gradient before and after the stenosis of the venous canal during DSA. A significant pressure gradient indirectly correlates with a decrease in flow in a constricted raft in the absence of collateral. With this case report, we want to document the use of non-invasive diagnosis of MRA with quantification of cerebral vascular flows (qMRA) in this indication. The qMRA also includes quantitative MR venography (qMRV), which uses specific phase contrast sequences with sensitivity to low venous flows and allows the determination of flows in large venous canals.
