Modeling of an Advanced Fuzzy Logic Controller with Elementary Links in the Internal Cascade

2020
The paper presents an approach that makes it possible to increase the intellectual capabilities of the system by applying the technology of fuzzy multistage control. This technique makes it possible to implement control laws of any complexity and obtain high-quality transient processes, and also leads to an increase in speed, and at the same time does not reduce the dynamic accuracy of an intelligent automatic control system. A feature of the proposed algorithm is the use of not only intelligent modules, but also classical elementary links in the internal circuit of a fuzzy logic controller. It is shown that in the case of heterogeneous formation of the internal modules of a multistage fuzzy controller, elementary links are used when adjusting the speed, while fuzzy links are used when eliminating the static component of the control error. Such a mixed construction of the internal cascade will reduce the information load not only on the intelligent system itself in the model, but also on the device that performs its functions in a real process control system.
