A Mathematicalmodel For Establishing Evolutionary Network Among DNA Sequences Based on Nucleotide Frequencies

In this study, a novel measure dependent on frequencies of nucleotides in DNA (de-oxy ribonucleic acid) sequences has been proposed. The dissimilarities among the sequences has been evaluated by employing Euclidean distance metric. Dissimilarities obtained are used to establish the evolutionary tree between biological sequences. Moreover, a fuzzy linear programming model is proposed in this work, to establish the evolutionary network. As an application, the model has been implemented on the actual data set of mitochondrial DNA sequences of twenty species and compared with the results of method (T-Rex).
