Queilitis granulomatosa de Miescher

La queilitis granulomatosa de Miescher es la forma monosintomatica mas frecuente del sindrome de Melkersson-Rosenthal, cuya triada clasica se completa con la presencia de paralisis facial y lengua fisurada. Es una entidad de causa desconocida, curso cronico e incierto y dificil tratamiento, que muchas veces requiere multiples modalidades terapeuticas y seguimiento a largo plazo. Se presenta el caso de una paciente con edema labial permanente que evoluciona con multiples brotes recurrentes (Dermatol. Argent., 2014, 20 (4): 265-267). Granulomatous Miescher cheilitis Abstract Miescher granulomatous cheilitis is the most common monosymptomatic form of the Melkersson-Rosenthal syndrome, which classic triad is completed by the presence of facial paralysis and fissured tongue. It is a condition of unknown etiology, chronic course and uncertain and difficult treatment, which often requires multiple therapeutic modalities and long-term monitoring. We report a female patient with permanent labial edema with multiple recurrent outbreaks. (Dermatol. Argent., 2014, 20 (4): 265-267).
