Electromagnetic Field Generation in SHS

Abstract Experimental and theoretical investigations revealed that an electromagnetic field was generated during gas-solid and solid-solid combustion of metals. Several prediction models for the generation of an electrical field formed during the oxidation and sulfidation of metal particles have been developed. The motion of the high temperature front during combustion synthesis of ferrite materials generates residual magnetization in cylindrical product samples.
