The conservative medical treatment varies according to the modifications of the ocular surface and because of this, the owner’s commitment is fundamental to the therapeutic success, avoiding sequels like visual loss. The canine KCS positive diagnosis from 2014 to 2017 will be evaluated. Data relative to breed, age and sex will be analyzed to verify the incidence of KCS in the veterinary hospital routine care and posteriorly to establish the relation to create strategies and devices to awareness the owner. Thus, a guide will be elaborated and delivered to all KCS patient owners, highlighting the relevant information about the disease and it cares, increasing the therapeutic success.
