Analysis and comparison of transmit diversity scheme using MRC and EGC

MIMO systems have become fundamental part of present day communication framework. The main issues that arise in cellular structures are to provide proper administration to clients, communication without fading and interference, to increase the capacity and data rates, expand the limit of the cell with minimum bit error ratio and signal-noise ratio for which we use equal gain combiner (EGC). EGC system reduces to MRC as show closer error performance where MRC measures signal phase and amplitude. [2]
