A Pigmented Papular Lesion on the Heel

2020
A 71-year-old woman presented with an 18-month history of slow-extending pigmented lesion on her left heel. The patient described that the lesion initially appeared as a papule, then enlarged and recently has increased rapidly in size and has developed intermittently bleeding. Topical mupirocin prescribed by GP, had been ineffective so she was referred to the hospital.
