Caspase 3, Bak and Bcl-2 gene expression in mice infected by porcine circovirus type 2 virus.

Caspase3,Bcl-2,Bak are three important regulatory proteins in the process of apoptosis.In this study,BALB/c mice were infected with porcine circovirus type 2(PCV-2) and Caspase3,Bcl-2,Bak gene expression were monitored by SYBR Green I real-time PCR.The results show that Caspase3 level was up-regulated after PCV-2 infection;the expression of Bak gene and Bcl-2 gene was also up-regulated in mouse heart,brain,spleen and other organs,thereby increasing the cell apoptosis.
