Design Aspects of Terahertz (THz) Antenna

In this paper the analysis of traditional metallic structures of dipole and monopole antennas, along with the dielectric resonant antenna (DRA) structures in THz frequency band is carried out. The purpose of this analysis is to represent the design aspects of THz antennas. Here the antenna parameters of metallic dipole, metallic monopole and DRA structures are compared in order to highlight the feasibility of metallic and dielectric antennas in THz band.
