A review on the post-covid-19 multi-organ complications

2021
The present coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) is responsible for millions of death worldwide. At present, this disease is probably the most significant concern for the people of the world. It mainly targets the respiratory systems of the affected person. The patients also observe other symptoms that are not related to the respiratory tract. In this review, we accumulate the effects on other systems of the body that are prevalent after the patient is recovered from the disease. These effects include dyspnea, adult respiratory distress syndrome, hypertension, myocarditis, neuro-inflammation, olfactory dysfunction, impaired fertility, reduced renal function, general weakness, etc. The post-COVID-19 symptoms are sometimes prevalent for a long time. So, the patients should be cautious about their health even after recovery from the disease.
