A method for producing a metal-semiconductor contact in semiconductor devices

In prior art methods consists in the course of metal deposits a relatively high risk of contamination. In the new method, the actual metal-semiconductor Schottky contact or is generated only after the application of a protective layer system, whereby any desired metals, especially platinum can use without contamination risk.
