Clinical effect of distal radius locking titanium plate internal fixation in the treatment of comminuted fractures in proximal subclavian

2013
Objective To investigate the clinical effect of the distal radius locking titanium plate fixation for clavicle proximal comminuted fractures. Methods Forty-three patients with comminuted fractures in proximal subclavia from March 2008 to December 2011 in our hospital were selected.Twentythree patients were treated by distal radius locking titanium plate internal fixation,Twenty patients(ontrol group) were treated by conventional treatment. The clinical results of the two groups were retrospectively analyzed. Results In the control group,1 case with delay fracture healing,1 case with malunion fracture healing,2 cases with infection and 2 cases with the shoulder slight pain, the complication rate was 30.0%.In the observation group,1 case with the shoulder slight pain, the complication rate was 4.3%.The difference between the two groups was statistically significant (P < 0.05).the total efficiency rate in the obsevation group was higher than that in the control group (P < O.05).Conclusions The application of the distal radius locking titaium plate internal fixation in the treatment of comminuted fractures in proximal subclavian, has a good safety and efficacy, and can significantly improve patients' life quality.
