Bibliometric Analysis of Home Health and Internet of Health Things (IoHT)

A bibliometric analysis on Home Health together with Internet of Health Things (IoHT) is not done earlier. The objective of this study is to carry out a bibliometric analysis of Home Health with the Internet of Health Things (IoHT). The analyzed parameters include top ten institutions by affiliation, top ten authors, top ten countries, top ten funding sponsors, top ten sources and subject-wise classification. In addition to that, the network analysis is done for keywords, sources citation analysis, author’s co-citation analysis and country-wise co-authorship. The data is taken from the Scopus database on 23 September 2020. The search string results have shown a total of 1000 documents, after limiting for language as English and document type as articles. The results have revealed that the key themes in the future could be a congruence of assisted living of older patients with the health monitoring devices. Congruence of smart homes with smart devices is based on Body Area Networks (BANs) and Personal Area Networks (PANs). Moreover, the research in this area is expected to increase in the coming years and there is a requirement of enhanced collaboration between developed and developing countries.
