En el presente protocolo se revisan los pasos a seguir para poder realizar el diagnostico de pericarditis aguda en un paciente con dolor toracico y fiebre, comenzando con una adecuada historia clinica y exploracion fisica y detallando el uso progresivo y eficiente de las diferentes tecnicas de imagen multimodal a utilizar. EnglishAcute pericarditis (AP) is defined as a set of symptoms and signs that are the consequence of acute inflammation of the pericardium. In this protocol, the steps for making an acute pericarditis diagnosis in a patient with chest pain and fever are reviewed, starting with an adequate medical history and physical examination and detailing the progressive and efficient use of the different multimodal imaging techniques available.
