Carbon Nanostructures Deposition on Surfaces Treated by Warm Plasma Processes

2018
To improve the adhesion of carbon nanostructures (CNSs) in different surfaces, atmospheric nitrogen discharges, obtained with a warm plasma torch, were used. The deposition of substances containing CNSs (synthesized by arc discharge) on these surfaces was realized by an electrospinning technique. The morphology was analyzed by scanning electron microscope in order to confirm the deposition of CNSs on the treated and untreated surfaces. An elemental analysis was performed by energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy. The analysis of the surface quality was done by the contact angle technique.
