The invention discloses an anode acid adding device and method for an ionic membrane electrolytic cell. The device comprises a diluted hydrochloric acid storage tank, a hydrochloric acid conveying pump, a light salt brine circulation tank, a light salt brine conveying pump, a brine high slot and a pipeline mixer; a liquid outlet of the diluted hydrochloric acid storage tank is connected with a liquid inlet of the hydrochloric acid conveying pump; a liquid outlet of the light salt brine circulation tank is connected with a liquid inlet of the light salt brine conveying pump; a liquid outlet of the hydrochloric acid conveying pump, a liquid outlet of the light salt brine conveying pump and a liquid outlet of the brine high slot are all connected with a liquid inlet of the pipeline mixer; a liquid outlet of the pipeline mixer is connected with an anode inlet of the ionic membrane electrolytic cell; the liquid outlet of the hydrochloric acid conveying pump is further connected with the anode inlet of the ionic membrane electrolytic cell; and a flowmeter arranged on a pipeline is in linkage with an automatic discharging valve, and a pH meter arranged on the pipeline is in linkage with an automatic acid adding valve. The anode acid adding device and method for the ionic membrane electrolytic cell are high in automation degree, increase the operating speed and relieve the labor intensity.
