Fine Needle Aspiration Cytology of the Breast

Fine needle aspiration cytology (FNAC) is a widely used technique for the diagnosis of inflammatory lesions, benign tumours and various malignant tumours of the breast. It is particularly helpful for the grading of carcinoma and hormonal receptor status for the management of carcinoma of the breast. This chapter discusses the cytomorphology and differential diagnosis of the various breast lesions.
