Pedunculated hepatic hemangioma identified on Tc-99m DTPA-HSA scintigraphy.

1999
A patient had a pedunculated hepatic hemangioma originating from the lateral portion of the left lobe that radiologically mimicked a submucosal gastric tumor. The characteristic perfusion blood-pool mismatch with hemangiomas was shown in the left upper quadrant on Tc-99m DTPA-HSA scintigraphy. Histopathologic analysis revealed a giant cavernous hemangioma.
