Zur Indikation von Kurzbeurlaubungen bei stationär aufgenommenen Patienten mit atopischem Ekzem (AE)

22 patients with atopic eczema were examined as to the effect of short-term demissions on mood and dermatological symptoms during a three-week- stay in hospital. Results are based on single-case analyses. Mood clearly improves during demission, whereas no difference between the two settings can be established for skin related symptoms. A presumed negative effect of short-term demission on AE-patients can therefore not be confirmed.
