These new drugs offer the advantage of more targeted action, on the level of an oligomeric protein complex, the inflammasome. Toutefois, des recherches sur la physiopathologie de la goutte ont conduit au developpement des inhibiteurs de l’interleukine (IL)-β2. Ces nouveaux medicaments presentent l’avantage d’avoir une action plus ciblee, au niveau d’un complexe proteique oligomerique, l’inflammasome. Elles inhiberaient l’activite pro-inflammatoire de l’IL-β2 et ainsi limiteraient l’inflammation uratique.
