In this study the typical changes in pelvic X-ray anatomy for the patients with rectal cancer after different types of operations (abdominoperineal resection (APR), anterior and abdominoanal resection, Hartman’s amputating operation) were described. Analysis was based on results of retrospective study of CT- data of 133 patients with rectal cancer. It was shown that the pelvic CT and analysis of the diagnostic information obtained should be performed with consideration of the time passed after the operation. Within the first three months after the operation the principal CT objective is to diagnose post-operation complications. It is the most reasonable to perform the “basic” pelvic CT in four months after the operation, further the CT-image is compared with the «basic» one.
