The Current Phenotype——Dynamic Evidence of Molecular Targeted Therapies in Breast Cancer

The current phenotype of breast cancer is the expression of receptor molecules of the breast cancer tissue when patients receiving treatment.For postoperative breast cancer patients who receiving adjuvant therapy,the pathological immunohistochemical results can be used as the current phenotype.And for recurrence and metastasis breast cancer patients,we can use pathological detection of metastases or circulating tumor cells,combined with the postoperative pathological of the primary tumor,to make the treatment plan.The detection and application of breast cancer current phenotype provide the dynamic evidence of molecular targeted therapies in breast cancer,since the introduction of the concept of breast current phenotype.It has important clinical significance to grasp the phenotypic changes in breast cancer cells,and then make effective adjustment of treatment programs.
