Applications of monoclonal antibodies in the immunodiagnosis of parasitic diseases

The monoclonal antibody has been widely applied owing to its advantages of high specificity,efficacy and easy purification.The application of twelve immnodiagnosis methods including latex agglutination test(LAT),indirect haemagglutination test(IHA),immunofluorescent assay(IFA), flow cytometry test (FCM),immunohistochemistry test,radioimmunoassay(RIA),immunoblot test,immunoenzyme and immunogold-silver staining test,enzyme linked immmunosorbent assay(ELISA),immunogold filtration,immunochromatography and immunochromatographic test(ICT)with monoclonal antibody in the immunodiagnosis of parasitic diseases was reviewed in this paper.
