LES FRACTURES OUVERTES DE JAMBE TRAITEES PAR UNE METHODE ORIGINALE D’ENCLOUAGE CENTROMEDULLAIRE VERROUILLE

2013
We reported twelve cases of open fractures of the leg treated by locked intramedullary nailing during one year (from 10/97 to 10/98) in the university clinic of traumatology-orthopaedics of the university hospital Ibn Sina Rabat Morocco. We adopted the Carchoix and Duparc classification. In first intention, the fractures of stage I were treated by locked intramedullary nailing. Stage II and stage III have been stabilized by external fixation and relayed, after approximately seven days, by locked intramedullary nailing. The skin losses in stage III were treated by split graft. We used the kuntschers nail previously perforated. The bolting of the nail has been made through holes of bolting noticed by external measures and visualized after trepanation of the bone. We had 91.6% of good results on an average recession of nine month.
