Synthesis, Properties and Applications of Li-Containing Nanoparticles as Electrode Materials

Nanoparticles produced by borohydride reduction have been investigated as precursors for metal hydride electrodes [1–2]. Based on our knowledge about the mechanism of a borohydride reduction process [3], we expected the increasing of the content of hydrogen and the capacity of electrodes respectively, as a result of including lithium in nanoparticles.
