Cellular immune function change and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease

2012
The current study shows that the body's immune function or disorders play an important role in the development and progression of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).In which the non-specific immune cells include alveolar macrophage, polymorphonuclear, natural killer cells, dendritic cell, while the specific immunity are mediated by T lymphocytes and B lymphocyte cells. The cells involved in immune function are closely related with the development of COPD. Key words: Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease; Non-specific immunity; Specific immunity
