New progress in Hepatitis B vaccine research and vaccination in China

Hepatitis B virus(HBV)-related diseases are still a major problem that perplexing medical profession.About 1-1.5 million people worldwide die of HBV-related diseases each year.In particular, there is noneffective treatment of chronic hepatitis B currently, which makes vaccination of hepatitis B vaccine become the most economical and effective means of prevention and treatment.Therefore, the study of hepatitis B vaccine has made great progress.This review summarizes the relevant research current status and research progresses of hepatitis B vaccine aiming at increasing the awareness of hepatitis B vaccine in clinicians.
