Stress Analysis of Cryogenic Pipeline of LNG Carrier

Because of the characteristics of the LNG, the cryogenic pipeline of LNG carrier will withstand a huge temperature difference during the loading, unloading and sailing.In addition, a mass of hull deformation and the ship rolling will also have an adverse effect on the pipeline.According to the above characteristics, several main points which include analysis theory, reference standard, analysis tool, simulation and selection of checking conditions etc are elaborated in the thesis.The first stresses and the second stresses of the pipeline in different checking conditions are calculated.The conclusion that the tees, bends and anchors often have a high stress is confirmed.The reason of the maximum stress is analyzed.A feasible analysis method for the cryogenic pipeline of LNG carrier is obtained.
