Labial and Vaginal Flaps for Female Urethroplasty

Locally available tissues like vaginal, labial or vestibular flap, if healthy, may provide a viable option for reconstruction of strictured female urethra. The selection of a procedure will depend on various patient factors, expectations and surgeon’s experience with the techniques. This chapter outlines the patient selection process for use of these flaps and gives an insight into various reconstructive approaches using local flaps and their outcomes.
