The Hydrogen Sensors Based on the Dandelion-like Nanostructured TiO 2

The nanostructured rutile TiO 2 was synthesized by hydrothermal method and then it was further processed by the hydrothermal process with AgNO 3 to be the TiO 2 doped Ag nanomaterial (TiO 2 /Ag). SEM images showed that both the pure TiO 2 and the TiO 2 /Ag are the dandelion-like 3D nanostructures. The nanostructured TiO 2 and TiO 2 /Ag doped were prepared as the gas sensors and their responses to H 2 were tested. The results indicated that the sensor based on the Ag doped nanostructured TiO 2 has much higher sensitivity than that of the sensor on the pure nanostructured TiO 2 .
