Predictors of Mortality from Spontaneous Soft-Tissue Hematomas in a Large Multicenter Cohort Who Underwent Percutaneous Transarterial Embolization

Percutaneous transarterial embolization is effective in stopping bleeding in the majority of patients with spontaneous soft-tissue hematoma; however, retroperitoneal location, high simplified acute physiology score II, and large hematoma volume are associated with a poorer short-term outcome.
