Spacecraft active method for adjusting the mixing ratio of propellant

2013
Spacecraft propellants than active adjustment method, comprising: a test performed before a large consumption of the engine put into the spacecraft propulsion system, measured operating parameters, then the system hardware by adjusting the oxidant and fuel inlet pressure reached the standard standard mixing ratio; a pressure sensor disposed in the fuel inlet and the oxidant, and the oxidant and the fuel tank upstream of the pressurized air supply is provided for each pipeline latching valve; during engine operation by the propulsion system controller collects real-time engine inlet pressure parameters of the fuel and oxidant, and compared and adjusted, so that both the propellant inlet pressure of the engine is controlled to a level very close to, the level of deviation can be controlled so that the total mixing ratio of propellant. The present invention effectively improves the propellant in spacecraft propulsion system utilization, thereby increasing the operating life of the spacecraft and payload mass, reducing the production cost of the spacecraft.
