Wu et al. and DeAngelis et al. also described radiologically undetectable foreign bodies; but in their cases, metallic IOFBs were detected during intralenticular and epiretinal surgeries, respectively. To the best of our knowledge, the present case is the only case of siderosis bulbi caused by intracorneal residual rust with no radiologically detectable foreign body to be reported.
