Day-Ahead Reactive Power Optimization Model for Active Distribution Network based on Various Active Management Measurements

2019
For Active Distribution Network (ADN), the original multi-period reactive power optimization model is no longer appropriate. This paper firstly gives the description of the active distribution system and the second-order cone power flow model of the active distribution network. Then minimizing the daily energy loss is considered as the objective function, and a multi-period mixed integer second-order cone programming for active distribution network is established by second-order cone relaxation and model linearization technology to achieve an efficient and accurate solution of the model. The correctness and effectiveness of the proposed optimization model have been evidenced in the modified IEEE 33 bus test case.
