Intraosseous ganglion of styloid process of the radius due to scaphoid non-union

2006
Abstract Intraosseous ganglion cysts around the wrist joint are more common in lunate and scaphoid. We report a rare ganglion cyst of the radial styloid process in a professional horse rider. The cyst was probably a consequence of an old injury to the scaphoid. The patient underwent arthroscopic debridement of the lesion and was asymptomatic at 2 year follow up. No similar constellation of intraosseous ganglion of the radial styloid process and scaphoid non-union were found in the English literature.
