Facile preparation of flexible and stable superhydrophobic non-woven fabric for efficient oily wastewater treatment

Abstract A flexible and stable superhydrophobic non-woven fabric was designed and facilitated for the oily wastewater treatment via a facile hydrothermal and modification process. The as-prepared non-woven fabric (ANF) can be used for gravity-driven separation of oil-water mixtures over the entire pH range and spontaneous floating oil collection. As except, the ANF has the advantages of flexibility, high separation efficiency and stability in various environments, which gives it great application potential in actual oily wastewater treatment.
