Die abnorme chirurgische Blutung

2005
The hemostatic potential is essentially dependent on maintenance of the integrity of the vessel wall and on hemostasis following vascular lesion and tissue damage. Several compensating mechanisms, such as I%ES clearance of activated products of coagulation, the fibrinolytie system, and inhibitors of coagulation and fibrinolysis, are involved in the physiological control of the hemostatic balance. Any disturbance of its equilibrium gives rise to hypocoagulability or hypercoagulable states. The role of platelets and plasmatic components and the significance of fibrin-stabilizing and fibrinolytic phenomena are discussed with reference to the hemostatie process itself and wound healing.
