Cause analysis of residual disease or recurrence after cervical conization for cervical intraepithelial neoplasia

2012
Objective To study high risk factors of residual diseases or recurrent after cervical conization for cervical intraepithelial neoplasia(CIN).Methods The possible risk factors of 195 cases being collected who had been treated by cervical conization due to CIN from October 2008 to December 2010 were made the research and retrospective analysis. Results Among 120 cases in accordance with the condition,42 cases were diagnosed as residual lesions after cervical conization. The analysis results showed that no significant difference existed between endocervical margin status and residual disease in the post-cone hysterectomy specimens(P0.05).Glandular involvement and the value of relative light unit(RLU)/positive control(PC) before cervical conization were the two high risk factors resulting to residual disease or recurrence. Conclusion Glandular involvement and RLU/PC≥500 easily led to residual disease or recurrence after cervical conization for CIN and great importance should be attached to the people who gain positive in cervical canal with endocervical margin status.
