Impact of Preoperative Breast MR Imaging and MR-guided Surgery on Diagnosis and Surgical Outcome of Women with Invasive Breast Cancer with and without DCIS Component

The results suggest that breast MR imaging improves the depiction of ductal carcinoma in situ components of invasive breast cancers; if used together with contemporary methods of MR-guided needle biopsy and MR-guided surgery, it may contribute to improved surgical management of women with breast cancer.
