Clinical characteristics of Infectious Mononucleosis in children of monocyte increase

Objective To investigate the clinical characteristics of children with infectious mononuclear cell histiocytosis(IM).Methods The clinical symptoms,signs,laboratory tests,and complications of 160 cases of IM were analyzed retrospectively.Results The results of 160 patients were 85 cases of male and 75 cases of female;median age was 7 years old.Fever,angina,cervical lymph nodes is the main clinical manifestations of IM patients,hepatosplenomegaly,nasal congestion,eyelid edema is an important sign.Common complications are liver damage,heart damage,reduced pneumonia,thrombocytopenia,and neutropenia.Conclusion Children of different ages had different IM clinical symptoms,signs,laboratory tests,complications,attention should be paid to the treatment efficacy of Ganciclovir.
