Collaboration commencing at an early point in time between the proprietor, general contractor, structural designer and the manufacturers is required to minimize the overall expense. The expansion in the longitudinal direction of individual construction sections, positioning the expansion joints, span widths, the correct load transfer and specifying the reinforcement needed are all determined in this phase. The interaction between the building and the ground is also to be taken into account here. Reinforcing using steel rod for the differing connections in fastening slabs, girders, ceiling joists, walls and supports can be designed as single rods or as reinforcement mats. The costs and the quality are influenced to a great extent here depending on the flows in production.
